Time Travel Companion Wanted!
I have traveled successfully to the year 2 AD. I walked the ancient stone and brick highways. I saw the Roman Legions march in uniformed precision. The night sky of this era is so beautiful, almost eerie. The air crisp and clear, the sky is full of stars and the most amazing thing is nothing, nothing is in the air. No airplanes, no helicopters, no balloons, no satellites, nothing. The cool night breeze whispered the secrets of yesterday.
I spoke (not very well, a bit choppy) in his native tongue to an Inns Keeper about commerce and the local flora and fauna. He could tell that I was not a native but a "Traveler". He had no clue as to what kind of "Traveler" I was. I told him I was there for the festival. Lucky for me there really was a festival. It was to be a grand occasion. Unfortunately, I would not be able to attend due to my timetable. (I'll explain how this works later.)
I have witnessed things more amazing than any vocabulary could even remotely come close to. Travels that the most astute traveler cannot even compare to.
I have told my experiences to many people. Some look with bewilderment, others scoff and mutter "liar." It is not for me to make them believers. I Travel. I Travel well.
People ask is it safe? "Yes, am I not here speaking to you at this very moment?" is my reply. I have had three CAT Scans that provided nothing. I am healthy and strong. My personal physician examined me two weeks ago and released me on flying colors.
The “Travel” leaves no long-term side effects. The only affect is a momentary mild dementia that dissipates after two or three minutes. It is kind of like being jolted rather suddenly from a very deep sleep and you do not know where you are for a moment or two. My previous Travel Partner also experienced mild nausea. This was probably because he also experienced motion sickness. This also dissipated after about five or ten minutes.
I am looking for a "Travel Companion".
My previous Travel Companion and I did experience some "local color". Because we were different and knew things (things that are common knowledge today). These people labeled us as sorcerers, only through their ignorance. A better term would have been alchemist. We had to be resourceful and make a quick getaway. With this knowledge, I now know what to do and what not to do in most circumstances, as I have made over two dozen "travels".
Requirements:
Mission: After selection, full mission details will be disclosed. You will be richly compensated and help preserve historical knowledge through artifacts. We will undertake six "Travel-Links" over 12 weeks, with two-week recovery breaks between each journey. Minimal time will pass in the present timeline.
Why a partner? Safety, strategy, and support. My previous companion chose to stay behind voluntarily. We will visit him during one of our links.
